Supporting Students With ASD Through Leadership, Advocacy, Collaboration, and Evidence-Based Practice
Welcome to my Autism Specialist Electronic Portfolio. This portfolio highlights my professional growth in educational leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices for supporting students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their families, and the educational professionals who serve them.
Purpose of My Professional Portfolio
This electronic portfolio was developed as part of my graduate studies in Autism Spectrum Disorder at Grand Canyon University. It provides a collection of professional artifacts created throughout SPD-577 that demonstrate my continued development as an educational leader and autism specialist.
The portfolio highlights my knowledge and application of educational leadership, advocacy, collaboration, professional development, evidence-based practices, family partnerships, and resources for supporting students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Each artifact represents an opportunity to connect research and best practices with practical application in educational settings.
As I progress through the course, additional artifacts will be added to demonstrate my professional growth and preparation to support students, families, educators, paraprofessionals, administrators, and related service providers in my role as an autism specialist.
